NATIONAL HIKING DAY

  • Slim Baker Foundation 301 New Chester Mountain Road Bristol, NH, 03222 United States (map)

Come hike with us on National Hiking Day! Join our Board Co-President, Brittany Durgin, on a hike to the summit and enjoy cookies, cider and a view of the Newfound Area from atop Inspiration Point. The program starts at 3pm, meet at the Slim Baker Kiosk in the parking lot. Maps will be provided, the event is free and open to the public, no registration required.

Also known as “Take A Hike Day,” National Hiking Day always falls on November 17 and it may be one of the most important days out there. Why? For starters, there's more than 60,000 miles of trails across the nation. GET OUTSIDE! Need a map, download one here!

Feel free to send us your photos of you hiking on National Hiking Day at events@slimbaker.org and we will share them on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
