STORYWALK® AT SLIM BAKER FOUNDATION FOR OUTDOOR EDUCATION
The StoryWalk®, which originated as the idea of Anne Ferguson and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library of Montpelier, Vermont, involves laminated pages of a children’s book attached to wooden stakes, and placed along an outdoor path. This is a great activity for kids and their adult caregivers that combines getting outdoors, enjoying a story, and improving literacy skills. The Slim Baker Foundation hosts a StoryWalk® each year, in late summer through early fall.
