Pemigewasset Valley Search & Rescue Team: What they do and how they work with NH Fish and Game

  • Slim Baker Foundation 301 New Chester Mountain Road Bristol, NH, 03222 United States (map)

Join us to hear about the work of the Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue Team (PVSART) and how they assist in search and rescue operations in New Hampshire. PVSART is a volunteer organization formed in 2005 to assist with woodlands searches for lost or missing persons and with carry outs. It provides support to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, which under RSA 206:26 (XII) has controlling authority for all woodlands search and rescue services in the state of New Hampshire. PVSART responds only to requests from NH Fish & Game or other public safety agencies. The primary response area for the team is Grafton County and the western side of the White Mountains. You can find more information on PVSART here.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is required, seating is limited. Registration opens in January 2026, check back for the registration link.

The Slim Baker Lodge is located at 301 New Chester Mountain Road, Bristol, NH.
