Meteorites & Munchies

  • Slim Baker Foundation 301 New Chester Mountain Road, Bristol, NH 03222 Bristol, New Hampshire 03222 (map)

The Perseid meteor shower, which peaks in mid-August, is considered the best meteor shower of the year. With swift and bright meteors, Perseids frequently leave long "wakes" of light and color behind them as they streak through Earth's atmosphere. Join us at the top of Little Round Top and Inspiration Point for a viewing of the meteor shower while enjoying some munchies. Bring a flash light and follow the Worthen Trail to the top. This program is free and open to the public. Physical Address: 301 New Chester Mountain Road, Bristol, NH 03222
